Participants must be 19 years or older as of August 4, 2022 and legal U.S. residents. No purchase necessary. Account not required to participate. Entry recognized when a participant completes all of the following actions: on the First Bank of Alabama page post, nominate a local elementary, middle or high school teacher and the school they teach at. For manual entry, First Bank of Alabama must receive a written entry on a 3X5 piece of paper setting forth the name of the teacher being nominated and the school they teach at.  No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries will be accepted.  The bank is not responsible for lost, late, erroneously delivered, incomplete or postage-due entries.  The manual entries must be received at First Bank of Alabama, PO Box 797, Talladega, AL 35161 prior to the contest end date. Only one (1) entry per individual Facebook user or manual entry. First Bank of Alabama, in our sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify entries containing content that we deem inappropriate. The promotion period opens Thursday, August 4, 2022 and ends Sunday, August 7 at 11:59 pm CST. By submitting any entry, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Employees of the bank, employees of Flex Marketing and their immediate family members residing in a single household are ineligible to win. The winner will be notified via Facebook message or alternate method provided by person entering the teacher in the contest. The bank will award a total of ten (10) prizes consisting of a $100.00 Visa gift card. The winners (teachers) will be chosen randomly by Flex Marketing and announced on the First Bank of Alabama Facebook page on Monday, August 8, 2022. Odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of entries received. The prize must be claimed in person at a First Bank of Alabama branch location by the winner, who must present a valid, government issued photo identification, within three (3) days of notification. The prize will be awarded only if entrants comply with these Official Rules. No cash or other consideration will be paid. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Any winner, members of any winner’s household, relatives, and persons who use any prize awarded by the bank, and such persons heirs, assigns, executors, and administrators release and exempt the bank and its directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all claims, actions, demands, choices in action and damages which they have now or any time in the future arising from use of any prize, including personal injury or death. By accepting the prize, the winner consents to the use of his/her name and photograph or likeness for advertising and promotional services without compensation. The name (and photograph, as applicable) of the prize winner may be posted in all bank branch locations, published in the bank’s newsletter, and included in other informational resources and advertisements such as the bank’s website, digital signage, social media, etc. Taxes: Winning may result in taxable income; consult your personal tax advisor.
